Are there any side effects?

Common side effects may include headache, flushing, nasal congestion, indigestion, and back pain or muscle aches (slightly more common with tadalafil than other PDE5 inhibitors because of its longer half-life). Your provider will review your full health history before prescribing. Seek medical care for chest pain, vision or hearing changes, or an erection lasting more than 4 hours.

Can tadalafil be used with other medications?

Do not use tadalafil if you take nitrates or guanylate cyclase stimulators such as riociguat — the combination can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure. Use caution with alpha-blockers. Your provider will review your full medication list and health history during the consultation.
